2003 Mini Cooper S mini cooper roof leaking through coming out of the rear view mirror?
I have a 2003 mini cooper s with a panoramic roof however a leak has started coming through the rear view mirror does anyone have any experiance of this or have any solutions
the leak may not be coming from the moon roof at all. Have you ever had the front windshield replaced? There could be a slight leak in the seal around it. I think if it were coming through the moon roof there would be h2o damage to the interior ceiling as well. Is this MINI copper a total rip off?
I just bought an 2003 mini cooper triptonic gear (i only know how to drive automatic). great condition, everything works well, clean carfax from a dealership. it has 88,000 miles on it. got it for $12,999. i know it's not the best deal but i live in a small town so it's hard to find a mini cooper, let alone having it be automatic. my boyfriend said it's a total rip off and he's been making fun of me for buying the car. So I just wonder was it really a stupid deal? Was it a total rip off? or my boyfriend just really doesn't know what he's talking about?
No offense, but I wouldn't pay 13k for a car with 88k miles on it; never the less one that's worth about 9k...i'm in NY and cars have extremely high value here and the kbb is 8900...i would have thrown down 4,000 more and just bought a brand new lancer personally...or like a 3 year old 3 series...

The MINI Cooper then came out, which had a 1.6 litre engine, with more horsepower (115 i think).
The Cooper S then came out, which used the 1.6 engine, but with a supercharger.
I'm afraid I don't know much about the newer versions.
Personally I've never seen an automatic MINI, but that might be because i live in the UK.
