I drive a candy apple red 2007 hatchback Toyota yaris. We call it the "jelly bean".
What does this car say about me? what does your means of transportation say about you?
You know, i'd say the Yaris is a young person's car too, except i always see this older lady driving hers around town...
personally i love how little i spend on gas. cute and affordable!
thanks rio! i love my car too!
i only spent about 13,000 for it brand new... by now you could probably get a used one for cheap.
EDIT: I WISH I could use public transport, but it's non-existent in my neck of the woods. When I lived closer to the city that was one thing I loved, just walk out the door, 15 minutes down the road, get on a train, go anywhere ... love that!

It says you are old enough to have a driver's licence, that you like red or couldn't find a car you liked in another colour and that you don't want to spend every available cent you have on petrol. It's a cheerful city car, I think.
One of my work colleagues has a Yaris and they're a nifty little car. I like the high seats and am thinking of getting something with those style of seats next time, because it would be so much more convenient for my Dad (who has mobility issues).
My own car is an older Nissan station wagon held together with chewing gum and pantyhose which is perfect for yard sales, going to the fruit and veg markets and carting gardening stuff around.
I think it says "she couldn't give a fruit tree about cars" but has a lot of stuff she likes doing that needs storage, lol.
I drive my partner's four cylinder to and from work. It's a cheap and cheerful Nissan Pintara, very easy on the fuel bill, and I think it says "here's someone who drives an hour each way to and from work and leaves the car in an underground garage all day". It's red, too, which makes it go faster, I believe ;-P
I've always driven big cars and trucks in the past, but with the driving I do nowadays I want to be comfy and not pay a fortune for fuel. Also, in the city a big car is a joke. If I moved back to the country I'd consider somethign with better springs, though, lol.
Rated: RSynopsis: What cops in their right minds would arrest a big-time racketeer on an indecent exposure charge because he zipped up his fly? The answer is none. The answer's also Freebie Waters and Benito "the Bean" Vasquez, assuredly not in their right minds. James Caan and Academy Award winner* Alan Arkin are Freebie and Bean, mismatched San Francisco cops who bird-dog a notorious mobster as if auditioning for a demolition derby, cutting loose with bullets and wisecracks all the way. Directed by Richard Rush (The Stunt Man), this rough-and-ready early buddy-cop caper follows in the skidmarks of Bullitt and The French Connection - but it's a burning-rubber classic itself, with four major chases scenes and more than 100 car crashes. Fully loaded with humor and firepower, Freebie and the Bean is one beloved smash hit.

A legend in the car industry reveals the philosophy that`s starting to turn General Motors around. In 2001, General Motors hired Bob Lutz out of retirement with a mandate to save the company by making great cars again. He launched a war against penny pinching, office politics, turf wars, and risk avoidance. After declaring bankruptcy during the recession of 2008, GM is back on track thanks to its embrace of Lutz`s philosophy. When Lutz got into the auto business in the early sixties, CEOs knew that if you captured the public`s imagination with great cars, the money would follow. The car guys held sway, and GM dominated with bold, creative leadership and iconic brands like Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, GMC, and Chevrolet. But then GM`s leadership began to put their faith in analysis, determined to eliminate the "waste" and "personality worship" of the bygone creative leaders. Management got too smart for its own good. With the bean counters firmly in charge, carmakers (and much of American industry) lost their single-minded focus on product excellence. Decline followed. Lutz`s commonsense lessons (with a generous helping of fascinating anecdotes) will inspire readers at any company facing the bean counter analysis-paralysis menace.

Hi,
I see you know Rowan Atkinson. My little nephew watches Mr Bean cartoon everyday and goes crazy about him.
All I need is a picture of me and Rowan to show my nephew. That would be amazing! Tell me if you can do something. I can pay you £50 for the favour.
Thanks
