Bmw Mini Cooper S Parts
R/C car blown power transistor?
My wife bought me a Dickie Mini Cooper S R/C car in England when the new Mini Coopers by BMW weren't in the US yet. I believe one of the power transistors just blew. It's an NEC D882P. Just one of four blew up.
I assume changing it is as simple as taking the existing off and soldering on a new one. I can't seem to find anywhere to buy a D882P!?
I know I only want a single one but can deal with buying in bulk as that seems to be the way other transistors are sold (and most electronic parts). What I don't want is a plethora of transistors.
Where can I get either one, or a small amount, of these transistors?

hi ! i have a mitsubishi lancer 2006 and it has a small engine 1300cc, so i got bored of a car that top speed is 170 km , i want a car that looks great and has a great engine too
there is 5 cars in front of me to buy
1st: bmw 328 cabriolet e36 with m body kit and rims ( cheap spare parts price ) (on my country)
2nd: bmw 116 2005 stock ( high spare parts price )
3rd: mini cooper s 2004 ( very high spare parts price)
4th: tune my lancer and change it to evolution with its body kits and everything (high spare parts price)
5th: tune my lancer and change its engine to miivec 2.0 and and get a great body kit ,etc (medium spare parts price)

Yeah the mini cooper s has a harmonic balancer on the stock crank pulley to kill the vibration when you swaped it with the light pulley it started to vibrate and rattle the engine to death only 2 things you can do now put the stock pulley back on and hope for the best or get a new engine srry to hear this happed but the kight pulley is crap anyways in this case stock is better.

The Cooper Auto lineage is far spread from the original family roots.
The original BMC Mini sedan was modified by the Cooper auto group to become a sportier version of the dowdy little Mini sedan. Sort of what Shelby did to Mustangs. The Austin Mini Cooper had modifications made to the motor, exhaust and suspension to make it perform. It became very successful in its class on the racetrack. Sales jumped with the wins it recorded and a cult following developed.
BMW was looking for a new product and entered into an agreement with Cooper to build a stylized version of the Mini Cooper and market it using Cooper's name. This too has become very popular, although no where as successful on the track.
