Classic Mini Clubman How much bigger is a 2Liter Honda engine than a 1800 Honda engine?
I want to put either a Honda 2Liter engine or a 1.8Liter engine in my classic Mini Clubman. I know the 1.6 and the 1.8 engines will fit without to much "surgery". Is a 2 or 2.2 L much bigger? What will I have to do to fit it? Must I cut from the inner mudguards and and also from the firewall? How much? More or less. Any suggestions of helpful technical websites where I can also find more info. I am from South Africa. To buy the kit from UK will cost me to much.
