Classic Mini Cooper Models Are there any ways to make a Classic Mini safer?
I'm really wanting a classic mini as my first car. I've been driving my parents' Nissan Micra for around a year and would like to think I am confident on the roads now.
The only concern of mine, and my parents, is the safety of the Mini. Is it possible to modify a Classic Mini so it is safer? I know that Cooper models after 1996 are equipped, but these are out of my budget and more expensive to insure anyway.
