Can someone please help with my story work?

i'm making a mini bound book in my moms office and i was wondering what else could i add;

so far i have
Character Profiles
places in story
ships (its a pirate story)
piracy in the caribbean official document (my story is nothing like pirates of the caribbean if your wondering)
family trees
information on pirate havens in caribbean
pirate knowledge such as key positions aboard ship, pirate punishments, places and items on ship e.g- bow, figurehead, mast and sail names, how to understand directions on a ship e.g port,

anything else i can add in?
i'm already working on the story it's just work etc. to do while i'm stuck in my mom's office cos i've finished all the filing

Outline a story. You already have your characters, the places, the modes of transportation. Now all you need to do is figure out what you want your characters to do and make them do it!

The fun thing with pirates is there is a lot of material on the originals. Go to wikipedia and research pirates like Blackbeard, Bartholomew, and any others. You already have most of the research down, it looks like, so this would be to fill out language and mannerisms and such, but you can really play with that and don't really have to be true to the originals, since every person (and character) is different.

The only other thing you need is you plot, and the characters to play with (which you have). So, get to writing and you'll have your book in no time!
