Mini Cooper Accessories Bmw Buying mini cooper car..?

Mini Cooper 2008 with basic featuers and few accessories comes at around $22-25K..mileage is very very cool I believe. It belongs to BMW, is it so? But I dont understand why they are found very few in number..
Is it because it is very small and risky for highway?
How is the maintenance for it?

The few in Number is not everyone wants to spend alot on a car that only offers little in Luxury.. The car itself is a riot to drive. The go cart feeling is awesome. However that little Peugeot 1.6 has its share of bugs. There is a cold start chatter problem(search Mini Cooper cold start chatter on Youtube),There is also other goofy issues.. too many to list... but you can read them here http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/stock-problems-issues/162889-why-i-wont-buy-a-mini-yet.html These forums are excellent. Sure there are people who dont have problems,, or dont mind taking there car and have it sitting a few weeks at the dealer. They think that is normal,,, or it only happened one time.. I would say percentage wise. it has more problems then most cars. You are getting a go cart with the cheapest price performance components that MIni Cooper /BMW could find.. Its a lotta technology in such a small package.. Its a niche market car. and honestly they say It has great resale... Well according to Edmunds.. The Jeep Wrangler has a hair better resale.. Its opinion.. Safety wise... Yes there are 6 airbags,,, because 2 or 4 wasnt enough to reduce injury. There is a picture comparision of a Mini Crash test vs a F-150,,, and yes if a Mini hits another offset Mini(car of same weight) it does less damage then a ford f-150 running into another ford f-150 .. however if you have a 4000 chunk of metal heading your way from behind.. and he doesnt see your little 2600lb go cart... I would rather be in the F-150 any day.. Yes there is also a picture/story of Yukons owners who tried to avoided rear ending the Cooper clipping it and then rolling a few times. If they would have just hit it directly they may have lived. Think of it like this You can also swerve and miss that bunny rabbit in the road but kill yourself in the process.. the bunny only had abroken paw.. in the mean time your dead.. Does that make the bunny rabbit stronger and better built? The do have good accident avoidence which i believe is the ability to not roll over. I still want a Mini Cooper as a second car.. but i will wait till they trash that 1.6 or get the bugs out of it first.. i dont want to spend $33,000 US on a car that they call the cold start chatter sound normal and acceptable... Also right now with 850 lay offs their moral at teh factory is bound to stink,,, so i may not want a Mini that is being built as we speak.
And as far going 15,000 miles inbetween oil changes, Yes synthetic motor oil does last that long,, however too bad your engine will still get condensation and contiminates anyway.. The dealer isnt servicing the car for what's best... Its servicing the car the bare minimum its able too in a formula for them to save money and have a three service plan as a gimmick.... I still want one but not yet, Either way you will lose money on the car,,, i wouldnt buy one for good resale value,,, i would buy it because its fun to drive, or i enjoy it.. You spend $117,000 on a BMW 760 li in 2004 and in 2009 its worth maybe $48,000 ... So much for keeping resale value...
