im trying to buy a rover mini cooper 1.3i, im just not sure how much there worth, i think the miles are low and the body work is in quite good condition, it needs a new exhaust, battery, a little work done on the sills to make it pass the mot, a good clean, Mot and tax, any ideas on price please, its a K reg green cooper thats been sitting around for 3 years

It doesn't matter that it has been sitting for 3 years as long as it runs, Just make sure you check every were for rot they brilliant cars get yourself in a club and you can usually get parts parts cheaper. When Mot-ed and taxed you are probably looking at £1200- £1800 depending on the condition hope this helps.

I have a 2001 mini cooper that has a sigma alarm system on it. My battery on the car has gone flat and i want to change it but will the alarm then be activated?
I dont have any key fobs and i dont have any of the key pads
Is there any way that i can change the battery without arming the alarm?
and also how do you pull the alarm system out of the car?
I should think the Sigma alarm would have a +12 Volt connection some place close to your battery. Disconnect the alarm before you change the battery. Be observant of where your ignition key is during an alarm installtion.
