i think i have trouble with the brakes on my mini cooper 93" 1300i.......when i press the brakes they seem to stick down and i have to pull the peddle back up with my foot....it seems like the brakes are sticking on and slowing the car up...i want to take it to kwikfit but im worried as a female they will put it on to me because they will think i wont know any better....can anyone help me out and tell me what the problem might be...

You have a serious problem. Most likley you will be needing a new master cylinder and a rebuild on your brakes.
Have you been adding fluid to your brake cylinder? Adding the wrong fluid can damage the internal components of the master cylinder and possibly the wheel cylinders. The symptoms you describe match this scenario. A total rebuild of your brake systrem will be expensive and complex. Go to a real mechanic, not some HS kid working nights and weekends if you value your safety..

I drive my friend 2005 Mini Cooper. I step on the brake panel, something strange before the car completely stops. It is like a ABS stop,,,,,,,,,,,,,or I like to say it is like I release the brake a little bit then step hard on the brake panel. What is it ?
it sounds like the mini has a warped brake rotor so it will give the feeling of a pulsing brake pedal and a rocking motion as you are slowing down and in some cases the steering wheel will rock slightly from left to right, the easiest cure is get an on car disc machine of the rotors or you can just replace the rotors and that will fix up the problem.
