in all honesty, you have good taste in cars lol and you're 19 so i'm assuming you've been driving for a little while. You should go for the g37 if you can truely afford it and handle the power. the 350z isn't all that practical and insurance for a first driver wouldn't be either. the mini cooper-never quiet been a fan of it--oh and it doesn't have something as simple as cruise control! the eclipse has subjective styling and you may or may not like it but it has a nice engine under the hood (3.8l 263 hp and 260 ft lbs of torque available at 4000 rpms). nissan altima is a tame version of the g37 but can get expensive with packages. scion tc is just underpowered (160 hp at 5700 rpm and 162 lb ft of torque at 4000 rpms!) the rx8 isn't bad but the rotary engine loves to go fast and doesn't like city driving (you can tell by how it is a gas hog). don't like the vw eos but you should look into the gti.

you should also look into a lease returned g35. reviewers love their gearbox and it's very quick.--nothing's wrong with saving a little cash (under $21k)

Civic Coupe vs. Mini Cooper S

Used Coupe, which one?

Well I have about $10,000 to invest into a coupe. I am going from a chevy silverado and have decided to switch to a smaller car with gas being how it is. I have mainly been looking on eBay motors at 2000-2003 Accords, a few Solaras(seem to be a lot of these), Volvo s40's, even a few older mini coopers, along with a few others.

My main thing is price, gas mileage and safety. Also would not like to have to pay sports car insurance so probably no Acura RSX's. My preferences are a quick car, one that I have to careful pushing the gas with . Any suggestions? Personal Experience? Thanks in advance!

Try to find a Certified Used Civic SI (06 to 08 Model) or an Accord Coupe V6 (02 to 07 Year Model)

The 02's of the Accord are a previous body style, but they are still very sharp looking cars and getting one around the 10k Mark should be easy.
