also the heater takes ages to heat up i have topped up the water tank, the fan is really noisy when cooling down is this normal
Ironically, many modern engines heat up quite considerably 'after' they have been switch off because all the methods of heat dissipation have also been switch off. For this reason the fan either switches on or remains on after the engine has been switched off.
It's not only normal, it stops damage to your engine.
