I am thinking of purchasing a new car. However, I can't make a decision between Mini cooper convertible and Mustang convertible. Now I have two options with close prices:

I currently own 2 MCS vehicles. Both are EXCELLENT and I highly recommend a MCS....especially the convertible. I had the opportunity to drive a Mini S convertible and it was SO much fun.
I used to own a Mustang Cobra and it was a pile of crap. The handling was poor and it does not take corners well. Yeah, it goes fast going in a straight line but that's about it. The insurance was also ridiculously high (I paid $718 every 6 months with Geico). Also Ford service is horrible. They treat you like garbage and the waiting room is like waiting in a trailer park office....horrid!
You see where I am going... Oh, I am a career adult woman. My husband owns the other MCS and is built like a linebacker. I doubt anyone would call him "girly" driving a MCS. In fact, they think he is utmost cool and modern driving that car.
What is your price range? There are many excellent options out there.
The Mazda RX-8 is nice, but because of its rotary engine it doesn't get the best gas mileage and its rather loud if you care about that kind of stuff. It does have a cool back seat feature though.
The Mini Cooper S is great for handling and scooting around tight areas, but is pretty small and still quite expensive. Its still a great car though.
I love the Hyundai genesis coupe, though it seems like the handling isn't as tight as the competition. It also doesn't have the same acceleration unless you get the top trim which is over $30,000. I would get this if getting looks and the wow-factor are important to you.
The Nissan 350z is my personal favorite. If my life didn't require a sedan I would get this or a 370z. The steering.handling is great and the exhaust note is Godly. The acceleration is also effortless. The rims on some models are kind of blah, but you can always change those.
In my opinion the 350z is the best, but the Genesis is a close second. Pricing wise, the RX-8 is the cheapest because it is an older car. The Nissan 350z is pretty close to the same price area though as it too is aging. The Mini Cooper S is probably going to be mid $20s unless you get something with high mileage.
