What is the ideal MPG?
Hi,
Just bought a Mini Cooper.
MPG is 25 in the city, 35 on the highway.
Cool. But I don't know the average or ideal fuel efficiency. Is that good? Is that bad? Can someone give me some comparative information?

it's fine. who cares.
Ideal mpg of course would be 999999999 mpg, where it takes 1 cent to drive a year. and you save the environment.
otherwise ideal mpg is what you can afford and what your peers in your workplace/school/home sneer at.

What Mini Cooper S is Best Year?
Hello, im 18 close to 19 and my Favorite car is the Mini Coopers. They just seem sporty and Fun to drive....Like a Go-Kart. But I Was wondering What year was the Best Mini S made? Best as in Most HP, But still Great MPG.
Don't tell me to get a Different car, i want a mini.
The best Mini's some might argue are the ones from back in the day. They were truly "mini". Today's Mini is the clubman of the 70s, and the today's clubman is a station wagon .
I have an 06 Mini S and love it but the 2007+ models come with a turbo and interestingly a non-funtional hood scoop.I'd say these models are more efficient and hence "better". The JCW "John Cooper Works" versions have the highest level of performance which would arguably put them at the top.
Though honestly, I would prefer a stick base model if it were up to me alone. I would also prefer the 16" wheels over 17"s and normal tires over the runflats... I say this because the fun factor from handling and so forth can be had for less operational costs in this "lesser" model.
