Ok...my boyfriend and I have somewhat of a disagreement. I want a Mini Cooper and he wants me to get a GTI. I like both (like the cooper a little better), BUT I want the most best one...which one is better?
First of all, you should always get the car that you want. You want the one that is of your opinion and not of others.
Second, in my opinion, I think that the GTI is better. They have similar prices, but the experience is way better with the GTI. The driving dynamics are better than than the Mini Cooper's and the interior was soooo much better. It pulls harder when hitting an on-ramp and it's way more practical when taking passengers and luggage. The price is also much more agreeable and there will be newer models soon. The GTI is much more gorgeous and if money isn't a problem, you should just go with what you think or our instinct.
But, like I said, you should just get the Mini Cooper if you want. Your car should be your own unique choice and decision.

Is there a difference in maintenance between the standard Mini Cooper and the Supercharged?
I have been wanting a mini cooper (convertible) for awhile, but it may still be awhile before I actually get one. I'm not as much interested in the stat difference between the two, but moreso the required maintenance. I've heard that supercharged cars require more maintenance or cost more for maintenance or something. Is this true? I'm not trying to decide which one to get, I'm just trying to decide if I should care, really. I'm planning to buy used.
