mini cooper after market modifications?
ok, im looking into getting a new mini cooper hardtop, not the S i see tons of stuff for the S, but i don't want the S, any suggestions for parts that would help and fit it, especially concerning more Hp, and drive train additions, then suspension is next in importance, oh i plan on getting a manual transition also.
ok, if i were to go with the S or the other one, how would i get more MPGs out of them? that's why i liked the normal model, because of the fuel efficiency

Trust me, you'll enjoy a Cooper S over a normally aspirated model. Everyone I know with a base Cooper wishes they'd gotten an S. I have an S, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Both MINIs get excellent fuel economy. My car pulls down 36 mpg on the freeway, and it's supercharged. So long as you stay out of the boost (easy to do on freeway driving) the turbocharged engines are every bit as efficient as the normally aspirated version.
Manual trans is a good option, reduces weight and gives you maybe a 1 or 2 mpg edge over the automatic. Otherwise, normal advice follows: change the air filters ever 30,000 miles, use only 5w-30 synthetic oil every 3,000 miles, change the gear oil every 30,000 miles or so. And a performance exhaust wouldn't hurt! You'll enjoy great fuel economy for years.

Does anyone know how to fix a mini cooper convertible top?
I haven't been in any accidents, but the top won't open. It will open the sun roof part of it but not the entire top. Will someone please help
It sounds like a problem with the frame and/or cable of the roof. I've heard a few examples of this happening in my time as an admin on a MINI forum, I've provided a link in the sources section for you.
