Mini Cooper Pedal Cars Letting go of a good worker?
I work at a small garage, one of my co-workers that does the tire and lube stuff ya know the low level entry stuff. He can not drive a manual transmission car. The man does try I give him credit for that he doesn't puss out. He's maybe drove one manual little mini cooper into the bay fine. But other than that every time he gets a manual he keeps stalling it.
He knows how to turn the vehicle on and put it in gear. It just his foot work is off with the clutch and gas pedal. He just can't get his footing right. Other than that he's heck of a worker knows his way around a car he's pretty mechanically inclined. Beings that I am ahead of that area should we consider letting this hard working man go?
Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
Just because his coordination is a little off, don't let him go, just have someone else drive the standards. Hard workers are hard to come by, and it would be a big shame to let a good one go because of a small detail like that. And, you could always just have him practice with one after work one day with a standard so that he is just good enough to get them into the garage.
