Mini Cooper Turbo Upgrade
Belt and pulley system for mini Cooper s 2003 turbo?
Just looking for a really well recommended belt and pulley system for my Cooper s 2003, I heard some stuff about changing up the turbos belt and pulley so it's more powerful. A guy who owned a Cooper s for awhile said it's a really good upgrade and can give you around 50 hp! Thanks fellow yahoo-ers
Turbos don't have belts or pulleys; they work off of exhaust. Superchargers do. Changing the pulley on a supercharger isn't going to give you 50hp...so this guy was an idiot.
This is of course assuming you're able to have the patience to work on a cooper engine. It's incredibly tight in the engine compartment.
