Mini Cooper Windscreens
why is my rear windscreen washer not working?
I have a mini cooper s 52 plate and the rear windscreen washer has decided not to work. the water tank is full. so what could be the problem?
Could be a blocked nozzle as others have said - however the usual reason for a blockage is in the reservoir pump itself as there is usually sludge at the bottom - there are separate outlets for the screen and rear washers. You need to get at this pump and clean out the filter and the piping at the reservoir end - not always easy to get at.

23 Feb 2010 Mini Cooper S Windscreen creak while driving
I've mistakenly put windscreen washer in my coolant tank, will it do damage?
I put about a litre in (maybe a little more) before I copped on! I drive a Mini Cooper where the windscreen washer tank is way at the side as opposed to in the middle, which is the case in my last car. Please advise, will it be ok? I'm going to syphon it out later anyway, but I've driven it for a few days!!
It'll be OK but get it out as quickly as possible, flush the radiator with clean water, refill and add anti-freeze to the recommended concentration.
If you managed to put a litre in the radiator then you were probably running a bit low on it. There is some room for expansion left but a litre seems a bit much.

I have a stock, 2006 Cooper S-JCW. It's a four-crotch, crotch rocket.
Very fast, great acceleration, nimble as a kart.
I also use it for autocrossing on weekends, and I've beaten Nissan 350's and Vette's.
Very, very stable on curves, extremely tight feeling.
Lots of performance options and aftermarket mods available.

all u need it is for it to be stick like u have it and any engine upgrades it can come with and pretty much everything carbon fiber, o and dont forget the sun roof with a sick ass system, computer nav system jus takes up space and weight id get rid of it

Thank you for the laugh. The "Mini" designation is the brand; it doesn't mean "smaller than a normal Cooper." As C7S said, there are larger cars built by the brand.
