Mini Cooper Owners I Need You!?
I am getting anew car and I am considering a Mini Cooper. I know I want the cooper and not the clubman. I do'nt know if I want a hard top or a convertible. Which do you prefer? How does the convertible top work exactly and does it look ugly when its closed? I know the hard tops get more MPG but they both get alot better than the auto im trading in now to get a new car. If you own a cooper let me know how you like it or if you later had regrets. I have tested one out and I love it but I am just wanting to know long term how is it? Thanks!!

I have an MGB for top down fun, so I bought a hardtop for daily driving. It's quieter for one.
I also did not get a sunroof, adds 55 pounds of weight to the top of the car, and ultimately can leak with time, and it's just something else that can break.
However, I know a lot of people who live in temperate weather areas who love their cabriolets. They look fine when the top is folded. BTW, the top folds electrically.
