I think Lincoln's lineup is finally start to look much better.The MKS is sweet as hell and its getting the 340Hp EB engine.The MKZ looks much cooler now but it needs to get the 3.7liter from the MKS.The MKT is coming out next month in detroit with the EB engine and from spy shots it looks sweet.The MKX is getting redesigned soon and the Navi is getting new engines.Lincoln is finally becoming a real American luxury brand again.
I agree that the MKS is one sweet looking car, especially with the 20" rims. The added horses will be much better for it. I have liked the MKZ since it came out and can't wait to see the updated 2010 model.
What I would do if I were the head of Lincoln (and money were not the problem it currently is) would be:
Kill the Navigator once and for all. It really has outlived it's usefulness.
Bring out a sleek, large sedan with a coupe roofline to combat the Mercedes SLK. Call it Continental.
Bring out an almost "Rolls Royce Phantom" style and size Lincoln to replace the Town Car. Big, imposing, with suicide doors and the classic Lincoln radiator shell. Call it "Signature L" (Going back to the letter series Lincolns of the '30's)
Bring out a large, powerful coupe that targets the BMW 6-series based on the same chassis of the Continental, rear wheel drive, 4 passenger seating and call it the "Mark 9".
Finally a convertible based on the Mustang GT that is a larger two seater - lower priced than the Mark - Call it the XR-7.
What Lincoln really needs are some "halo" cars to go with the really great products that the MKZ, MKX and MKS already are. Make no mistake though - they are moving in the right direction and the MKS and if built, the MKT are proof positive.

can a 2007 FWD Lincoln MKX be flat towed behind a RV ?
The owners manual say's the MKZ can be flat towed. But I can not find any other information to back that up. The Lincoln dealership say's NO that it is not equipped with the right tranny.
