Would the world be better off if American acted more like a Maxi-pad or maybe a mini-Cooper? NO super stuff.
Should the U.S. butt out of other country's business? Should the US quit giving Foreign Aid in the $Billions to Isreal, Jordan, Egypt and other countries? Maybe get out of S.Korea, Taiwan, and close all the military bases in Europe? We'll let France fight its own battles.
We'll get out of NATO and the UN [which is mostly run by Russia and China anyway], put up a 30-ft wall on the Mexican border and grow all of our own bio-fuel from corn, wheat and sugar beets/cane. Which means we have NO extra grain to send to starving countries.

In regard to Taiwan, the United States is definitely not abusing its "Super Power" status.
When Japan renounced the sovereignty of Taiwan in the 1952 San Francisco Peace Treaty without designating a "receiving country," the United States (in the form of the "United States Military Government") was effectively designated as escrow agent.
Most people who study the treaty do not understand this because they have no knowledge of the functioning of military government in overseas territories which have become territorial cessions in a peace treaty.
Hence, the United States does indeed have the authority and jurisdiction to say that Taiwan cannot declare independence under the framework of the government in exile "Republic of China." If Taiwan wants to move along the path toward independence, it must follow the proper legal procedures.
The sooner that the Taiwanese people wake up to the reality of their true international legal status, the better.

Not really , it could be Brake dust. If you have alot of miles on the car then i would say it is a possibilty. If you are that worried about it , take it your mechanic for an inspection.
