Premium Cold Weather
Engine stalling on 2002 sunfire during winter only?
I have a sunfire 2002 with 120K (Kilometers) on it. Since I live in canada, the weather is extremely cold. Every winter, my car's engine stalls (multiple times a day) when the accelerator is released. Please work with me to identify the source of the problem before I shell out my cash for no reason on fuel injector cleaners and things of that sort as I heard they don't really work. I have tried the following: oil change, air filter change, used premium gas. None of those worked.
I should add that during summer, the car works just fine.
Something is failing, a weak alternator, throttle position sensor, etc., take it in and get a proper diagnosis, repair whats necessary. Don't waste your money chasing guesses.

Its gunna cost around $32,500 with around 19,000 miles on it. It has navigation, the premium pkg, and the cold weather pkg. My dad hates pre-owned cars and wants to get me a new bmw but then thats gunna take a while... prob. until summer... so yeah do you think its worth to buy with this limited miles on it for 33 grand??
