How to remove silver nitrate from skin?

I have an ulcer in the inside of my upper lip and I used a Silver Nitrate Stick (something I have always used, recommended by my dentist).

I accidentally got some of the silver nitrate on my bottom and my finger while applying. Now there are dark stains in both places.

Is there any way to remove this stain?

I'd say you should try and wash it with a lot of water and soap. It usually disappears in a few days.

What color tape do you use for your stick?

I have gold tape (my team colors are gold & maroon). My dad made a #12 (my number, of course) out of white tape on the back of my stick. It's pretty sick. ;D
My stick is silver and maroon-y red.

I myself use black tape on my stick, and for a very specific reason.

Though now a center, I used to play goalie. Tape on a blade that is the same color as the puck will help camouflage the puck in fast moving play. It will be tougher to see the puck during quick movements and passes and also to see the angle of the blade against the puck to predict where the player will shoot.

Though slight, it can make a difference, and all the little things add up.

I've also felt that white tape is thinner and somewhat transparent, which affects my grip (I barber-pole the shaft) and the softness of the puck on my blade.
