Suspension Mini Cooper RX7 motor into an old MINI Cooper?
I have built and restored many bikes but am looking to build myself a Mini Cooper pre 1985 and fit a rotary RX7 or RX8.
If anyone knows wherther this would be posible with the engen space and would i have to change gearbox and suspention?
We built a V8 Trike for my friend which we used a Jaguar suspension at the back.
Basically, any input would be apreciated as i am still doing research. Many thanks
i used to own an old mazda rx7 the engine and ancillaries take up a lot of space under bonnet.think thats why the front end on one was so long.good idea in theory but i would think about using a different motor.good luck.ps rx7 rear wheel drive and the exhaust is huge.and cost nearly 2k from mazda.

Mini Cooper S or Jetta GLI VR6?
I have narrowed my car choice to either an 00-04 Mini Cooper S or a 00-04 Jetta GLI VR6. Either way i will be purchasing a stick shift. I want to be able to fit at least 3 friends in the car, so keep that in mind. Also, which car would probably have a better suspension and easier to mod (add cold air intake, turbocharge, etc). Also which is more reliable? Lastly, which car gives u the most bang for ur buck? (my budget is up to 12,000 dollars.
uhh "just me" please don't answer questions u dont have knowledge about. On cars.com they have tons of listings for jetta gli vr6's less than 12K.
I would go with the mini cooper S cuz they r great cars to race and drift in. And really reliable.
