Turbo Manual
1992 Saab 9000 Turbo manual transmission replacement?
A friend of mine blew the transmission on his 92 9000Turbo. He's found a couple shops that will do the labor but no one knows where to find a new tranny. They suggested rebuilding his for $2000. Does anyone know what years will interchange with it or where a decent tranny can be located? He's in southern New Hampshire.
Sorry dude $2000 sounds cheap used to be a mechanic Saab are high dollar parts Hes better off to rebuilt his thats a good price i would charge more

I'm thinking about getting an 84 turbo 300zx auto. What parts will i need to do a manual swap?
if anyone knows a list for this i would greatly appreciate it. if i do the FS5R90a manual tranny swap, what other parts will i need?
To old to slow 1984 car may be hard to get parts for. Just running the hydraulic lines removing the dash to install the clutch pedal. While not advanced the wiring harness is different auto to manual. Flywheel pilot bushing in the crank pressure plate different trans X member different drive shaft. Console is different shifter and shifter boot. Early 300ZX had to many electronic features that do not age well Digital dash and auto climate controls rarely work properly.
